Festival Grounds

Festival Grounds

Disco Presents festival sites are generally flat and consist of a mixture of surfaces, such as dirt/sand paths, grass, and blacktop/concrete. As with any outdoor setting, rain can impact the conditions. Distances between areas in the festival sites and between stages can be very large.

The festival ADA team can assist patrons with disabilities with mobility around the festival grounds. Please visit the Request Accommodation section below.

Entering the Festival

For cars: All disabled patrons will enter event parking and request ADA parking by showing state-issued ADA documentation, such as hangtag or license plate sticker/registration. Companion cars must arrive together. No spaces are saved for a later arrival.

Viewing Platforms

Disco Presents festivals incorporate elevated accessible viewing platforms at each stage, generally next to VIP sections. These accessible viewing platforms are intended for guests who use wheelchairs, have significant mobility disabilities, or have difficulty standing for long periods of time. Staff and/or security will manage the viewing platform accordingly.

Service Animals

Disco Presents festivals welcome and support the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support, and will not tolerate, are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals. Please leave your pet at home.

Service Animal Definition

Service Animal Definition

A ‘service animal’ is defined as “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability.” Emotional support or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed at Disco Presents festivals. Please note that all service dogs, including those from out of state, are subject to local dog ordinances, which include a valid rabies certificate.

Service Animal Policies

For patrons with disabilities who wish to bring their legitimate service animal to Disco Presents festivals, Disco Presents asks that you review and follow the policies outlined below:

  • Service animals must be accompanied by the handler with the disability at all times.
  • Service animals must be under the control and supervision of their handler at all times.
  • Service animals are not permitted to be left unattended under any circumstances.
  • Handlers must be prepared to clean up after their animals at all times.
  • We reserve the right to remove and/or refuse access to any service animal from the campgrounds or venue if that animal is deemed a health or safety threat to festival patrons, staff, or other service animals or in violation of these policies.
  • All service animals must be credentialed by the Disco Presents festival staff (see Service Animal Procedures).

Service Animal Procedures

Service Animal Procedures

All patrons with disabilities attending Disco Presents festivals this year with a service animal must have that animal credentialed by Disco Presents festivals staff before entering the main gate. Accessibility staff will perform this process quickly and respectfully.

Upon arrival at Disco Presents festivals, come to the Access Tent in front of the front gates. Staff will speak with you, record your contact information, and provide a collar tag for your service animal. Security staff will be looking for all animals to have a properly credentialed Disco Presents festival collar tag.

Remember, service animals are allowed. All other dogs are not!
